His path took him from Utrera to Seville and San Sebastián, and later to Paris, where he continued his studies at the conservatories of Versailles, Paris, and Brussels. In these cities, he obtained master’s degrees in Saxophone, Chamber Music, and Musicology. His insatiable creative need drove him to study composition, analysis, harmony, and counterpoint, a growing need after working with his mentor, Vincent David, who states that:
«Luis González possesses great technical mastery of his instrument and significant musical flexibility.”

Luis has performed on major stages across Europe, including the Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona, the Petit Palais in Paris, and the Teatros del Canal in Madrid. He has been featured in festivals such as Les Nuits dans les Jardins de l’Alcazar Royal in Seville, the Festival Européen Jeunes Talents in Paris, and SummerWinds in Germany.
His repertoire spans from early music to Romantic transcriptions and contemporary creation. He collaborates regularly with composers such as Joan Magrané, Félix Ibarrondo, Carmen Verdú, Álex Nante, and Orlando Bass. Flamenco—deeply rooted in his Sevillian heritage—has also been a constant in his life: from an early age, he took part in recordings and concerts with local artists, and worked with companies including those of David Coria, David Lagos, and Úrsula López. Since 2024, he has also developed a recurring collaboration with dancer and choreographer Rubén Molina, exploring projects that blend tradition and contemporary creation.
A curious and versatile artist, Luis has also participated in classical and contemporary dance productions, theatrical performances, cabaret shows, and musicals. He finds deep inspiration in interdisciplinary collaborations, which nourish and expand his artistic expression.
A passionate chamber musician, he has performed with artists such as Orlando Bass, Karen Kuronuma, Nadja Dornik, Pavel Efremov, Joë Christophe, and Yakir Arbib. Together with French guitarist Antoine Guerrero, he co-founded the Duo Métis, whose unique stage connection has taken them across France and Spain.
He is currently preparing two recording projects that reflect his artistic path: GENESIS, with pianist Orlando Bass, and a second album with the Duo Métis.
Sharing his love for music and the saxophone is essential for him. He began teaching at an early age and was saxophone professor for two years in Courdimanche (France). Today, he gives masterclasses in France, Spain, and Italy—at festivals such as AlpenClassica Sax Festival and in conservatories—while also mentoring a group of regular students.
For Luis González, cultural outreach is a meaningful way to connect with society. He places strong emphasis on engaging directly with the public and takes part in musical outreach programs. He collaborates with organizations like Les Concerts de Poche, Jeunes Talents, and Tournesol, bringing music into hospitals, prisons, schools, and care homes—ensuring everyone feels part of the musical experience. Laurent Bureau, founder of Jeunes Talents, says:
